Biography

Dr. Nickerson received advanced fellowship training at the University of Kentucky in advanced cardiac imaging. Dr. Nickerson is level 3 trained in cardiac MRI and CT  and board-certified in internal medicine, general cardiology, nuclear cardiology and echocardiography. Dr. Nickerson currently serves as assistant program director for our cardiology fellowship training prgram, as well as key core facility. She is the director of cardiac imaging and specializes in general cardiology and advance cardiac imaging.

Dr. Nickerson pioneered the cardiac MRI program, which allows our facility to proudly offer this imaging modality to aid in a variety of cardiac imaging, including viability assessment and cardiac stress testing.
