Department:EMS
Position Description:
Assess, plans, implements, and evaluates care of the pre-hospital
patients and patients requiring interfacility transportation. Care is delivered in
accordance with MRHC policies, EMS Departmental Policies, Procedures and
Protocols, and in accordance with the Mississippi Department of Emergency Medical
Services, Laws, Rules and Regulations.

    Qualifications:
    Education:
    Must be at least 23 years old.
    Currently Registered National Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic.
    Currently certified State Emergency Medical Technician by the Mississippi
    Department of Emergency Medical Services.

    4. Must be a Certified Tennessee Paramedic within 1st year of employment and
    maintain licensure during employment with MRHC EMS.
    5. Must have current signed Jurisdictional Medical Control Agreement with
    MRHC Medical Director.
    6. Must have a valid Driver’s License. Must have a valid EMS Driver’s License
    issued by the Emergency Medical Services Division of the State Board of
    Health.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
