Magnolia Regional Health Center Employees Donate Items to Recent Flood Victims
During hospital week May 9, 2010 through May 15, 2010, MRHC collected clothing & canned food items for the victims of recent flooding in Corinth, MS. MRHC delivered nineteen Wal-Mart bags along with two large boxes of groceries to the Amen Food Pantry. Additionally, thirty-one bags, two large boxes of clothes, four bags of shoes and several miscellaneous items were donated to the Salvation Army. The Salvation Army is still in need of items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, soap, disposal razors and various toiletries.
MRHC is proud to offer support for people in need in our community. According to Vice-President of Organizational Excellence, Angela Jackson, “The hospital staff is pleased to take this opportunity to assist the victims of recent flooding in Corinth in their recovery efforts.” She added, “It is our hope that this donation will make a positive impact on the health and well-being of the people in our community.”
