From open heart surgery, to the most advanced surgical and minimally invasive procedures, MRHC provides a full range of inpatient and outpatient surgical services. The department performs approximately 10,000 outpatient and inpatient surgeries each year. The department consists of a main surgical services department and an ambulatory surgery center. The main unit has eight operating rooms, two endoscopy suites, a cystoscopy suite, a 16 bed surgical short stay unit and a 10 bed post anesthesia care unit. The ambulatory surgery center has 4 operating rooms, two procedure rooms, a 6 bed preoperative unit and a 9 bed post anesthesia care unit.
