Position Description:
Provides direct and indirect patient care services that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care; meets the communication needs of patient and family; provides care that reflects imitative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Maintains regulatory requirements, nursing and hospital policies, procedures and standards. Communicates with physicians and team members about changes in patient’s clinical conditions or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all nursing departments with adequate orientation and supervision.

Education:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Physical Requirements:
Able to sit, stand; talk and hear alarms; use hands and fingers to feel and touch; push; pull; crawl; crouch or crawl; stoop; kneel; reach with hands and arms, taste or smell. This job has vision requirements, close; distance and color. Must be able to identify and distinguish colors, have peripheral vision and the ability to judge depth perception.
License Required:
Must have a current LPN license issured by the Mississippi State Board of Nursing or have a multi-state license.
