Senior Transitional Care Unit Recuperative Care For The Elderly The transitional care unit at MRHC is located on the third floor. TCU is a geriatric unit with a focus on rehabilitative and recuperative care of the elderly. TCU is a place to assist residents and/or their families to care for themselves and teach any skills needed to manage their health when discharged. Interdisciplinary Team TCU is made up of an Interdisciplinary Team of professionals that work together to identify needs, establish goals and plan for a timely discharge to a safe environment. The team works daily to assist patients in meeting goal-oriented care for a speedy recovery.
