Program Goals and Objectives
- Evaluate patients at risk of sudden cardiac death.
- Diagnose and manage endocarditis
- Apply appropriate strategies to optimize treatment of heart failure
- Utilize appropriate modality for cardiac imaging
- Manage lipid disorders and atherosclerosis
- Choose appropriate treatment for atrial fibrillation
- Manage patients with adult congenital heart disease
Continuing Education Credits
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of the Mississippi State Medical Association, Mississippi Osteopathic Medical Association, Mississippi Nurses Foundation, and the Magnolia Department of Graduate Medical Education. MSMA is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. MSMA designates this live event for a maximum of 10.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s), MOMA designates 8.75 AOA Category 1-A Credits, 2.0 AOA Category 2-B Credits, and Magnolia Regional Health Center designates 10.66 CEU credits to be awarded. Participants should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Location and Lodging
Pickwick Landing State Park is a premier facility located in Counce, TN, just 23 miles east of Corinth, MS. The property is easily accessible and offers a variety of accommodations and excellent meeting facilities. Pickwick Inn has just completed an extensive guest room and facility renovation.
This program will be presented in Conference Rooms A & B at the Pickwick Landing State Park Inn located at 120 Playground Loop, Pickwick Dam, Tennessee. Registrants are responsible for lodging and meals other than scheduled dinner, breakfast, refreshment breaks and lunch. On behalf of our meeting attendees, room rates of $90 (plus tax) per night have been secured at the Inn. Reservations must be made by Saturday, September 9th, 2017 to guarantee this rate. There is a nominal registration fee of $125.00 for this program. TSPO/TSPN members are offered a discounted rate of $50. This event is free to employees of MRHC. Advanced registration is required no later than noon on September 29th.
