
Magnolia Regional Health Center and Magnolia Women’s Clinic are pleased to announce that Dr. Eric A. Tallent, MD, has joined their women’s health team, where he will work alongside Dr. Austin, Dr. Blackwood, and Nurse Practitioners Andrea Huddleston and Windy Vess to provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care for patients throughout the region.
A highly experienced obstetrician and gynecologist, Dr. Tallent earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Mississippi before receiving his medical degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. He completed his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at USAF Hospital Wright-Patterson Medical Center.
Following his residency, Dr. Tallent served as an OB-GYN physician in the United States Air Force, where he provided comprehensive care to military members and their families. After completing his military service, he practiced obstetrics and gynecology in Huntsville, Alabama, for many years, earning a reputation for compassionate, patient-centered care and clinical excellence. Dr. Tallent looks forward to caring for women in Northeast Mississippi and the surrounding communities.

Dr. Tallent began seeing patients in July at Magnolia Women’s Clinic and MRHC. His addition reflects Magnolia Regional Health Center’s ongoing commitment to expanding access to specialized healthcare services and meeting the needs of the communities it serves.
