Our program’s Mission is to develop physicians with the competencies and skillset required to become future healthcare leaders by exhibiting excellence in academics and high-quality patient-centered care.
Our Vision is to recruit and produce the best community-trained internal medicine physicians while improving our region’s healthcare through education, collaboration, and commitment to the patients we serve.

Research and Scholarly Activity
We are pleased to report that several of our internal medicine residents have presented at regional and national conferences nationwide. Although most have been done virtually this past AY, please see some of our previous presentations.
Residents are allotted a scholarly activity stipend that may be utilized toward such conferences each PGY year.
- Scholarly activity funds are utilized to help residents pay for attending educational conferences to present posters and/or case abstracts, the cost of posters, and other materials needed.
