PGY1 Pharmacy Residency: Student Affiliation
The Pharmacy department at Magnolia Regional Health Center serves as a rotation site for students from both The University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy and Union University College of Pharmacy each year. Pharmacy students participate in a wide variety of activities throughout the department. Experiences may include working in the IV room, unit dosing medications, daily rounds with various medical teams, ambulatory care clinics, drug utilization evaluation, research opportunities, and pharmacokinetic monitoring.
Magnolia Regional Health Center is located in the Northeast corner of Mississippi. Considered the “Crossroads of the South”, Corinth provides easy access to Memphis, Nashville, Birmingham and Jackson. This city with low property taxes, low crime rate, award winning schools and the honorable designation of a Mississippi Certified Retirement City, has a mild climate that allows for year-round activities for all ages. We are minutes away from beautiful Pickwick Lake, State/National/Military Parks with museums rich in Civil War History, multiple golf courses, and theatre productions.
